Coinciding with the presentation of a new edition of the 'De Tapas por Hoyo' initiative, the important tourism project that intends to reconstruct the old film set 'Golden City' through virtual reality has been announced. Hoyo de Manzanares was the scene in the 1960s of some of the most 'important Spaghetti westerns' that were filmed in Spain such as 'For a Fistful of Dollars' with Clint Eastwood.

For these shootings, sets were built creating a true town that was called 'Golden City' and that over the years has been lost. In the month of September an important project will be launched, now in full development, that will let us to see through virtual reality in our mobile phone how these sets looked. This has been explained in Hoy por Hoy Madrid Norte, the Councilor for Tourism of the City Council, Mónica Díaz.
